Course Description – This course provides participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge of the importance of mapping in forests operations. Participants are provided the relevant skills needed in identifying the features of maps, types of maps and their usage, reading and writing of descriptions, introduction and use of basic surveying and mapping instruments.
Certification is achieved after successful completion of 1 full week of training.
Teaching Methods – Lectures, Field Practical’s in the forests.
